Non-Bank Lenders fall into four main catagories
- Non-Bank but Bank funded. Sometimes a little more expensive but do the deal. Up to 95% possible with no Lenders Mortgage Insurance added so make a good option for those with low deposit.
- Non-Conforming. No proof of income or poor credit history. Rates quite high but they reflect the risk and they do lend!
- Finance Companies. Short term finance for all sorts of purposes. Rates start at around 12% for a first charge and 60% loan to value is about it.
